Job Description

Medline is looking for a Associate Project Manager to join the team and develop on your career executing across a number of operational and warehouse projects. Being an Australian manufacturing and distribution business, our supply chain is a critical component of our success and operational efficiency will be a large outcome of these projects.

The key projects will be around warehouse capacity and optimization, transport related projects, supply chain process improvement, digital growth and further progress with our CRM implementation so you will need to be ready to adapt and be agile in your prioritization.  Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, this role will benefit from expert coaching and support but with the autonomy to really own pieces of work as you develop into this role.

Main duties and responsibilities would include:

  • Support the development of clear project goals, objectives and scope in partnership with the business to prioritize projects.
  • Work with the rest of the Projects Team to document the proposed changes, define the business case and measures of success, gaining endorsement and support from business sponsors
  • Identify the resources, timelines, dependencies, milestones and budget required to implement the project with support from the  Senior Project Manager
  • Track and monitor progress against the plan and, working with the Senior Project Manager, manage both the team and stakeholders through the process, providing clear and concise reporting to senior leadership teams.
  • Provide guidance and support to the team including business Subject Matter Expert's so they have a clear understanding of the drivers and constraints on the project solutions
  • Effectively oversee the projects delivery and the inter-dependencies, this can include communication and resolution of any risks and issues supporting the team, acting as a mentor to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Identify and scope future potential strategic projects in consultation with the Senior Project Manager and General Manager, Business Operations.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Project management qualifications including a good understanding of project methodology frameworks with careful scope definition and facilitation.
  • 3 + years experience and knowledge in the management of small - medium sized business projects - supply chain and operations focused projects will be highly regarded
  • Able to work in a dynamic, cross functional stakeholder environment.
  • Experience using Power BI and Power Automate will be highly regarded.
